At Dickerson Pediatrics, we pride ourselves on our courteous and friendly staff. We are comprised of a multiracial, multilingual group of individuals; all dedicated to providing you, the patient, with quality care that is both thorough and expeditious. When you come into our clinic, you can expect to find a personable staff member ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the care of your children. We offer a comfortable atmosphere in which our patients are not just patients, but they are our friends as well. Our dedicated staff of professionals is interested in getting to know you as a person, as well as your children.

Our Physicians Dr. Cassandra Dickerson: Medical Director She has been a native of Houston and lives in Sugar Land with her husband Christopher and two children, Christopher ll, and Cree. She is dedicated to children, their health and will being, and to be a voice for them. In fact this is what she knows to be her reason for being.

Our Nurse Practitioner Funmi Omole: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner She has over 5 years of pediatric nursing experience directly with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. She received both her Bachelor and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing at Texas Woman's University. Pediatric care has always been her passion. She is married with a 2 1/2 year old daughter. While she is very active in her church as a teacher, worship leader and enjoys music, photography and traveling.

Our Staff
Mrs. Valerie Carter: Practice Administrator Valerie has worked in the healthcare industry for over 25 years and is knowledgeable in the area pertaining to management, billing and collections, staffing of medical practices, developing effective strategies for successful practice growth, as well as multiple other aspects of the healthcare industry. She is also dedicated to the success of Dickerson Pediatrics and insuring the continuous healthy success of the practice.		Mrs. Kristi Vega: Nurse LVN – Doctor Shadow Nurse Kristi has been nursing for 9 years. She is very patient, loving and enjoys seeing kids leaving the office with a smile on their face. She is an obvious asset to our practice as she is dedicated to making our patients and their families feel welcome and more relaxed. She has aspirations of becoming an RN.

Mrs. Stephanie Duesk: LVN- Triage Nurse Stephanie has been in nursing for 12 years she enjoys spending time with her kids and working with children. She is very involved in the community and volunteers with numerous youth leagues. She continues to service our patients with a smile and warm heart.

Mr. Harry Nash: Medical Billing Advisor He has worked in the area of management and service for 25 years. He is dedicated to making Dickerson Pediatrics a success. He has been and will continue to be a valuable asset to the practice as he works to accomplish any task related to the practice goals.

Ms. Jada Taylor: Medical Receptionist Jada has experience with medical assisting and running and managing her own business. She is personable and organized. She is an asset to our practice as she to makes our patients and families feel welcome, assist where needed and market our practice.

Mrs. Karen Cajina: Medical Receptionist Karen joined the practice as a CO-OP student for work experience. She was hired as a fulltime receptionist after graduating high school. She has played a huge part in the growth of the office over the last two and half years. She has been inspired by the nursing team to return to school for nursing.
